What is the STCQCAA?
The St. Theresa's College Quezon City Alumnae Association is a non-stock, non-profit organization established by and for the alumnae of STCQC.
Who are the members of the STCQCAA?
Membership includes all graduates of elementary and high school, as well as those who have completed at least two years of schooling at STCQC.
What is Theresian for Life?
A Theresian for Life (TFL) is an alumna who has paid the one-time lifetime association dues of Php3,000. Each TFL member receives a TFL Card. TFL members, having paid the lifetime fees, are exempt from annual association dues for attending the homecoming. They also enjoy refreshments in a designated lounge reserved for TFL members and receive up to a 10% discount on STCQCAA merchandise.
How is the STCQCAA governed?
It is governed by the Board of Directors, a 15-member group of alumnae volunteers. The Board Officers include the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, and Public Relations Officer. The remaining board members are appointed as heads and members of various committees.
How are board members selected?
The board members are selected in accordance with the association's bylaws.
How long can a board member serve?
A board member can serve up to two terms of three years or a total of six years.
Do the board members receive a salary?
Board members do not receive any form of compensation or allowance for performing their duties.
How can I get involved?
You are always welcome to volunteer for the various activities, programs, and events of the STCQCAA. If you feel you can contribute your time and talent, you may also join a committee.
What are the annual events of the STCQCAA?
The annual Alumnae Homecoming is held on the last Saturday of January each year. The Class Representatives Assembly takes place every July or August.
What are the other events of STCQCAA?
These are some of the events organized by the STCQCAA:
- TereTalks, under the Alumnae Development Committee, address relevant and engaging topics for the growth of our alumnae.
- Career Talks and Graduating Students Send-off, held in collaboration with the school.
- Alumnae Recollection, organized by the Golden Jubilarians, takes place every October or November.
- 'A Theresian Christmas Carol', a major yearly dinner fundraiser concert, is organized by the Performance Arts Committee in collaboration with the Ways and Means Committee.
What are the fundraising initiatives of the STCQCAA?
The STCQCAA raises funds to cover its operating costs, support advocacy projects, and benefit various causes within the Theresian community.
How can I make a financial contribution?
To make a contribution, simply fill out the online form, and you will be guided through the steps, including instructions for sending the payment.
How does the STCQCAA maintain financial transparency?
The STCQCAA diligently files its financial reports with all relevant regulatory agencies. Its financial documents are also available for review at the STCQCAA office.
