Who can apply for ACAP?
ACAP is open for application to high school graduates of Saint Theresa’s College of Quezon City who will meet the following criteria:
Currently enrolled in college pursuing their first degree
You should already be admitted and enrolled in your college school.
Scholar of a state university or institutional benefactor
ACAP provides monthly allowances to help in your daily school expenses.
From a low-income family/household
ACAP focuses on helping young alumna who are in need.
Maintains a history of good academic standing
You do not need to be in the honor roll to qualify for ACAP. Just maintain your good standing as a stuudent.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE & REQUIREMENTS
1Accomplish the online application form
Sit and take some time to fill in the application. Please read the instructions and carefully follow them.
Deadline for submission of applications and requirements is on June 30, 2024. There will be no extensions so please submit on time.
2Send to us the requirements
Upon submission of the form, you will receive a copy of your responses in your email. Forward this email to acap@stcqcaa.org and attach the following required documents:
- High school graduation picture or a formal headshot
- Validated current enrollment and registration form
- Official document of the scholarship award
- ITR or certificate of indigency of the head of the family/household or guardian from the barangay of residence
- Academic records from the previous school year or term
- Letter of recommendation from a Theresian alumnae or a current faculty/administrator of STCQC (no familial relations)
- Photo of facade of residence and kitchen
3The ACAP Screening Committee (ASC) will review all applications that are complete and submitted on time.
The ASC may get in touch with you for questions or clarifications.
4ACAP Grantees will be notified by email and SMS on July 31, 2024.
Check also your email SPAM folder to make sure that you do not miss the email.
5Send back an acknowledgement email as acceptance of the financial assistance.
You are given thirty (30) days to accept the grant. Should you choose not to accept, other ACAP applicants will be considered.
6The ACAP financial assistance is Php 20,000.00 per year and given monthly for 10 months.
The first tranch will be given in person at the STCQCAA office within the first month of classes. Recipients will need to show their College ID as proof of their enrollment. Succeeding monthly tranches will be transferred to the Grantee's bank account or verified Gcash account or could be personally claimed at the STCQCAA office.
7Maintain your good academic standing.
At the end of each term or semester, ACAP Grantees are required to email a copy of their grades to the STCQCAA email acap@stcqcaa.org.
8Maintain your scholarship status.
Proof of scholarship status and enrollment need to be presented at the start of every term or semester. ACAP Grantees should maintain their college scholarship to continuously receive the financial assistance for the duration of the college course or degree program.
9Participate in the activities of the STCQCAA
ACAP Grantees are required to participate in the Annual Homecoming (every January) and the Alumnae Recollection (every October or November). They are also encouraged to participate in other activities and initiatives of the STCQCAA throughout the year.
